In the heart of the Marche hills, the charming village of Morro d’Alba, one of Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages, transforms every year, around August 10th, into a starlit stage for the event “Goblets of Stars in the Village of Wishes” (Calici di Stelle nel Borgo dei Desideri).

This event unites the charm of the ancient walls, the magic of the starry sky, and the authentic flavor of Lacrima di Morro d’Alba, the wine symbolic of the region. The initiative originates within the national “Calici di Stelle” circuit, promoted by Città del Vino (Wine Cities) and the Movimento Turismo del Vino (Wine Tourism Movement), but in Morro d’Alba it takes on a special form, linked to the theme of wishes.

During the evening, visitors can taste the best local wines directly from the producers, walking through alleys illuminated by artistic installations and animated by music, itinerant shows, and live performances. On the town walls, the “La Scarpa” rampart walk offers a breathtaking view of the hills at sunset, where acoustic concerts are often held as the sun goes down.

The heart of the village becomes a poetic place, where it is possible to write one’s wish and symbolically entrust it to the Well of Wishes, in a collective gesture of hope and sharing.
