Loop from the Parish Church of Saint Gaudentius to the Small Church of Santa Maria del Fiore
An easy 3.9 km route that crosses the countryside, leading to the rural Church of Santa Maria del Fiore and covering evocative views of the Borgo (historic town). Upon return, a variant is possible through the small wood near the kindergarten.
The itinerary ventures out to the characteristic rural Church entitled to Santa Maria del Fiore, which was rebuilt at the beginning of the 16th century.
Start from Piazza Romagnoli / Piazza Tarsetti and head east. Turn right onto Piazza Tarsetti, then turn left onto Via Morganti. Continue by turning right onto Via Guglielmo Marconi, then turn right again towards Via Andrea Costa.
Proceed for about 600 meters along Via Andrea Costa, keeping a southward direction toward Contrada Fosso Roberti. Turn right onto Contrada Fosso Roberti and then immediately turn left onto Via Cupetta. Continue straight, entering Via Santa Maria del Fiore. At a certain point, turn right to stay on Via Santa Maria del Fiore and continue southeast. Finally, turn left to remain on Via Santa Maria del Fiore; your destination will be on the left after approximately 150 meters.
