In Morro d’Alba, there is a green park named “Chico Mendes,” where visitors can enjoy beautiful spring and summer days by taking walks, relaxing on the lush green lawn under the shade of fir trees, or playing a game of soccer on a nearby flat area.

Picnics are also possible, with tables available for use.

The park is divided into two areas: one older section, resembling a natural fir forest providing pleasant shade on sunny days, which includes a “fitness trail” for keeping active; and another, more designed area, consisting of a large lawn with seating and, until recently, new trees planted each year—one for every child born in Morro d’Alba that year. Each tree bears a plaque with the newborn’s name.
