FAI Days for Climate Action
Details
The FAI (Italian Environment Fund) promotes awareness campaigns dedicated to the protection of the environment and landscape and takes a stand on major environmental issues, including the climate crisis, water resources, soil conservation, biodiversity, and agroecology.
Through the national #FAIperilClima (#FAIforClimate) campaign, FAI encourages people to gain a deeper understanding of the climate crisis by starting from the places it cares for and protects. Through special guided visits and conferences, both at its heritage sites and throughout local communities, the Foundation promotes opportunities for learning and awareness, encouraging participants to observe ongoing environmental changes, understand their causes, and reflect on possible solutions.
For this special occasion, the FAI Delegation of Jesi and Vallesina has organized the following conference for Saturday, November 7, at 5:00 p.m., at the Santa Teleucania Auditorium in Morro d’Alba:
WHAT’S FOR DINNER? FROM TRADITION TO THE FOOD OF THE FUTURE
How Climate Change Will Influence Our Food Choices
The conference will be led by Emanuele Zannini, Professor of Food Science at Sapienza University of Rome and University College Cork, Ireland.
(Free admission with voluntary contributions in support of FAI activities.)
Following the conference, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., participants are invited to join a:
GUIDED TOUR OF THE HISTORIC VILLAGE WITH A WALKING WINE TASTING
Led by Alessandra Boldreghini, Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Morro d’Alba, the tour will include:
